A Brooklyn-based fashion designer, Svitlana Indelicato, was found dead in her home this week, according to law enforcement sources. The cause of death is still under investigation.

The 50-year-old designer, known for her handbags, scarves, and pashmina shawls, was found unresponsive by her husband on Thursday morning in their Bensonhurst home.
“Indelicato was unconscious and unresponsive when her husband claimed he found her inside a room,” the sources said. An unspecified “trauma” to the neck was reported.
Emergency medical services arrived at the scene but pronounced Indelicato dead. The New York Police Department is investigating the incident. No arrests have been made, and the medical examiner’s office will determine the official cause of death.
Indelicato sold her creations through Etsy shops “VitalTemptation” and “ScarfObsession.” She was known for her unique techniques using natural fibers like wool and silk.
Our deepest condolences go out to Svitlana Indelicato’s family and friends during this difficult time.
